I love meetings like this one (pictured). Last night, a few of us met here at the office to discuss an upcoming event. It was a creative/planning meeting which meant we discussed ideas and logistics. Which means we all had to use both sides of our brains. The left brainers wanted closure on pertinent issues such as budgets, schedules, timelines & milestones. While the right brainers wanted to talk about abstract themes, the tone, textures and feelings. It was fun, productive and lasted about two hours. I love the conference room here at Radar and at night it's even better. There's a lot of people who shoot down the idea of meetings and file them under "waste of time" but in our business they're critical and always productive. If I'm in a meeting that's not productive, I leave. Immediately. Those who know me know that I don't like wasting people's time. So all meetings have a clearly articulated agenda and objectives. Nothing fancy, just a general understanding among those present that we have a purpose and a ticking clock.
